I’m going to be flying into San Francisco
in a few days and picking up a rental car for a week. I got a full-size car for a really good price and using the Ultimate Choice program from Hertz. Just want to know if anyone has any good suggestions for which car I should choose. Mainly looking for something fun to drive with good fuel economy (those gas prices are nuts)
. It should also have Apple CarPlay so navigation will be easy. I’m hoping to find a Mazda 6. What do you guys suggest?

Mzda6 would be the best coice. F ull size Hertz means you’ll get Camry Altima Sonata Optima Malibu or if you’re lucky a Chrysler 300. I would recommend that. Also check out the Maxima or an Accord

I really don’t like CVTs so I’m probably going to skip out on any Honda or Nissan. I don’t think I’d want a 300 since I heard it’s fuel economy isn’t all that great and it doesn’t really look all that fun to drive to me.

I liked the Impala when I got one as a rental.

Are you saying Mazda got their zoom-zoom shit from their prominence
in rental fleets? :p

Choose? What sort of witchcraft is that? Every rental I’ve dealt with is show up and see what sort of car they shove on you. Occasionally they are even roughly similar to the type of car you “reserved”.
